BIOGRAPHY
Adolf Cheung is the President and founder of Unity Tech BD, a business development firm committed to expanding key sales opportunities for clients. This is achieved by leveraging the existing market base and expertise of our client base, combined with Unity Tech's extensive industry knowledge and business networks.
Before establishing his firm, Mr. Cheung joined L3 Electron Devices and Narda West in January 2017 as the Sr. Business Development Director for the Space Products Group, where he served until 2019. His main responsibility involved servicing Northrop Grumman in Redondo Beach, along with other strategic accounts for all space product sales, including LCTWTA, MPM, SSPA, LNA, Frequency Converters, and RF Filters.
Prior to his role at L3 Harris, Mr. Cheung was Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Dow-Key Microwave, a subsidiary of Dover Corporation. Over his 20+ years at the organization, he successfully executed growth strategies that resulted in impressive performance for the company.
Mr. Cheung began his career in engineering at Dow-Key Microwave and later served as Vice President of Engineering for the company, as well as for Emerson Electric and Ducommun Technologies. He designed and developed over 30 new RF switching products, including a V-Band Space Qualified Waveguide Switch, which enabled the Microwave Division to exceed both growth and profit objectives.
He holds both BS and MS degrees in Aeronautics and Astronautics from the University of Washington in Seattle, Washington, and an MBA degree from California Lutheran University in Thousand Oaks, California. Mr. Cheung has been a member of the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics since 1982, maintaining his membership throughout the years.
